Petersgate is an Infant School with children from 4 to 7 years, located in the village of Clanfield in the Hampshire South Downs.

Starting School September 2024

Children who were born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020 are due to start school in September 2024.

The admission window for on time applications has now closed.

Please visit the Hampshire County Council Admissions page to complete a late application. Please note these applications only get considered after all on time applications.

Welcome from the Headteacher

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, it is a pleasure to welcome you to our school website. We hope that the website keeps you informed of upcoming events and news in school as well as being a place to find key documents and information.

We are extremely privileged to be based in the village of Clanfield and we are surrounded by the beautiful South Downs.  The children have regular access to an engaging and purposeful outside environment which offers enriching learning opportunities.  This includes a vast open field, a wild garden with a pond, well-resourced playground, an outside learning space for each year group, outdoor musical instruments and our own gardens where we grow fresh produce for cooking and eating!

Or alternatively children can dress up a wooden spoon or potato as their favourite character.
